    The short answer is ‘yes’.

    Draffin Street Furniture design products with Australian Standards AS1428.2:  Design for Access and Mobility Pt.2 in mind. It is a guideline for comfortable furniture products that includes specifications to cater for all users regardless of ability, disability, age or size.     Our products are 100% Australian made in our 3000sqm factory in Bayswater, Victoria.

  3. 03.

    Yes, Draffin delivers to all states and territories across Australia. No matter where your project is located, from capital cities (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, Hobart and Darwin) to regional towns, we can supply customised street furniture to your site. Our team will work with you to ensure your order reaches your site safely and on time.

    If you need a standard product with custom specifications, submit a quote request through our website. Add your selections to cart and submit your request for an immediate quote.

  5. 05.

    Installation is not included. However, we can potentially arrange a contractor in your area if needed. Please discuss any special requirements with our team before we dispatch your order.

    304 grade stainless steel is adequate for outdoor applications in non-corrosive environments. 316 marine grade stainless steel is suitable for applications where outdoor furniture is installed in more corrosive environments (Coastal, Heavy Urban etc). Electropolishing either of these materials further increases the resistance to corrosion.

  8. 08.

    Mild steel does not have a corrosion resistant layer, and if directly painted, and left out in Australia’s harsh climate, will start corroding under the paint within weeks of installation. The galvanising process adds a protective layer that allows the furniture to last a very long time in Australian conditions.

  9. 09.

    We use the highest grade of Australian Spotted gum, selected to last in all weather for a very long time. Routine maintenance may be needed in order to maintain the timbers appeal. Composite timber is an engineered material, made from a mix of recycled timber pulp and recycled plastics. The effect is a convincing substitute for timber that needs little to no maintenance. Timber-Look Aluminium is a new material offered at Draffin. Reinforced aluminium extrusions with a special photo-film baked into the powdercoating gives this material a natural look, very similar to timber in appearance yet little to no maintenance is required.     All our products can be modified to suit your application. Need the height of a table changed? No problem. Need one of our bench models 5 metres long? Can do! Alternatively, we can work with you to create original designs that will work with your space. Our sales team, engineers, machinery processes and talented floor staff all show flexibility in their approach to our products, that makes us the best in the industry!

    As all products can be modified to suit the application, materials, colours, dimensions etc.. we make all orders from scratch. The manufacturing process starts after the goods are ordered. This allows us to tailor our products to your exact needs.

    All Draffin Street Furniture products are custom made for each customer. What you see on our product pages is but a few example configurations and the pictures are used to illustrate the style of the product. In most cases there are multiple material options for each component and many extra features and options available for each product, and lastly custom dimensions to suit each customers needs. All this information is needed first before a price can be quoted. But our dedicated sales team are ready to quote your requirements promptly.     Yes, we manufacture commercial grade street furniture, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be installed in the backyard. Keep in mind this is commercial grade furniture and may be more expensive than domestic grade or “light duty” products or otherwise, that are not designed for public use.
